Hereâs our most frequently asked questions and some general other pointers on where to get started! This is still a WIP.
General Information
Soapuppies is a semi-open species group centered around the little friends that come from being crafted with love! You can obtain items to create them by partaking in our activities and creating art related to our species! Below are links to where you can find information on other specific things, and a general list of the most common or important things to know!

Basics / Information
Q: I'm new, where can I go?
A: After reading this page, the species guide on site will tell you all you need to know about obtaining a character! If you are unfamiliar with Lorekeeper functions, check out the site guide! If you have any further questions, don't be afraid to ask. Additionally, you should check out Sudsyâs Shop to purchase a FTO bundle!
Q: How do I use the site?
A: Read over the site guide linked above! Itâll explain most basic functions.
Q: How can I make a character?
A: There are a few ways to obtain an MYO slot. First, and most easily, you can collect one free common MYO slot each month. You can also obtain Duckies to buy rarer MYOs, add-ons, and additional slots.
Q: How do I get Duckies?
A: Duckies are our virtual currency, used to purchase items for our species. Primarily, they can be obtained via drawing characters from our species and submitting the art to art redemption. They can also be earned in higher amounts via certain events and prompts.
Q: How long do submissions take to be approved?
A: All submissions are a manual process, they can take anywhere from a few hours to a few weeks. If there is an issue with your submission, you will be informed. Otherwise, hang tight! MYO submissions typically take longer than others as they require the eyes of several staff members each.
Q: When are events and updates?
A: We typically provide monthly newsletters within the first week of each month covering everything currently happening and upcoming events. Outside of those announcements, we generally donât have anything else actively planned and mainly host events when we feel itâs suitable to!
Q: How can I contact staff?
A: The easiest way to get ahold of us is within our Discord server. If youâre not in the server, check out our staff team page for the contacts of individual staff. Weâre all very happy to help, so donât be afraid to reach out for anything!
Q: Can I make characters similar to the Soapuppies species?
A: Yes, youâre more than welcome to use the ideas from Soapuppies or Dirtkitties for characters outside of the species. Again our only ask is that they are not labelled as affiliated with our species in any ways to avoid issues.
Q: Can I make Soapuppy adopts or trade/sell unofficial characters?
A: We donât restrict trading or selling characters similar to our species out of our spaces, but they cannot be advertised as being from nor intended for our species, and should be treated as a one-off. Unofficial designs cannot be advertised for within our spaces at all. Youâre welcome to submit an MYO with the intent of trading it.
Design Questions
Q: Can characters be anthro?
A: Yes, bipdeal and quadruped are both accepted. They can be both without multi/additional form if nothing else changes between the designs.
Q: Are humanoids allowed?
A: No, humans and humanoids cannot be Soapuppies nor hybrids of them.
Q: Can I have non-Soapuppy forms for my character/import a pre-existing character?
A: Yes, you may have Soapuppies with forms in other closed species or no species. Please ensure you are following the other species' rules and our own for this. If you trade a character with other forms, you will have to trade the entire character, not just their Soapuppy form!
Q: How can I get exclusive traits?
A: Exclusive traits can be added onto characters with the usage of a Swirly Shampoo or Sparkly Sugar. These items are only obtainable via events and cannot be purchased by any means. Users may also trade these items.
Site Questions
Q: How do I get Theme Tokens?
A: Theme Tokens drop from Gachapon Capsules and can be purchased in the Bubble shop. They can also be won in events sometimes, and users may trade them.
Q: How do I upload an extra image to a character?
A: In the comments tab, link an external image of the character's additional form and, if applicable the different traitlist of said form. It will be uploaded once your MYO is approved! You must still pay for any extra traits the extra form uses, plus the additional/multi-form trait itself.
If you are adding an extra image to an existing character instead,, upload the image directly in the images tab and request it to be added as an additional form rather than redesign! Again, you must still pay for the new traits.
Q: How do I get an image link?
A: Upload your image privately to a site such as sta.sh, imagebb, Filegarden, etc. Then, right click the image and click "Copy Image Address". You can then simply paste that link into anywhere that requires an image URL!
Q: Can the Monthly MYO be used on both species?
A: Yes, it is applicable both to Soapuppies and Dirtkitties.
Errors:
Q: Something seems broken or is giving me an error
A: All common errors are covered in troubleshooting page. Please check that out first! If youâre still experiencing issues, file a report!
Q: I noticed a mistake on the site
A: If it is not an exploit nor time sensitive, please comment on this page rather than elsewhere, as only certain staff can handle them. If itâs a tricky issue, a possible exploit, or urgent, file a report!
Q: Are guest artist or staff applications ever open?
A: Only by announcement. These are not regularly scheduled, and only appear when needed.
Pound Questions:
Q: What is the Pound?
A: The Pound is where you can create designs to be adopted by other users and adopt those designs for yourself! It has its own exclusive currency called Bubbles. It is found under the World dropdown, with all further information!
Q: When does the Pound restock?
A: There is no set time, itâs simply when a staff member has time do so!
Q: Why canât I transfer Bubbles?
A: This is an intentional balancing decision. You are welcome to purchase things with Bubbles to trade to other users, but the currency cannot be directly transferred.
Q: Does this Pound character have a Toyhou.se profile? How do I get it transferred to me from the Pound?
A: Check the Soapuppies Toyhou.se account! All of the profiles we receive are kept public, so if your character has one in our possesion, itâll be there! To claim a character youâve adopted by the Pound, file a claim on-site with the character and where for us to send it to
