About Soapuppies
Soapuppies are small animals carved out of bars of soap. They are created with love strong enough that allows them to magically gain sentience into living beings! Soapuppies are carved by artists and Soapuppies alike.
Anatomy-wise, Soapuppies are composed of two parts – their bodies, and their substance. You can pick from various types of bodies and substances, or even combine them!

Soapuppies, despite their names, can be any species, real or fantasy. Different species are different rarities, with domestic cats and dogs being the most common. Species can be combine into hybrids or multi-hybrids by using traits of multiple animals. (e.g. You can create a cat with fish fins and gills to have a fish hybrid. You can add antlers and hooves to create a multi-hybrid.)
Many extra traits and features can be added at varying costs and rarities. To see all of what your Soapuppy can have, including bodies, substances, and other categories, visit the visual trait guide!

Extra Trait Info
If you need a further breakdown on our traits, some extra info can be found below!Species
- Soapuppies can be any species in real life or fiction. This does not include copyrighted species from media, though Soapuppies are free to take inspiration from them as long as they have a species trait. (e.g., a character inspired by the Pokémon Pikachu being traited as Other Animal - Mouse, rather than Mythical - Pikachu)
- A hybrid is a character that is a combination of two animals, with physical features of both. This does not include fur markings and colors, nor features that are already separately traited as something else (e.g. wings, inorganic parts, other animal tail) unless there are several of them.
- Mythical creatures that are simply a hybrid of existent creatures, such as jackalopes, chimeras, griffins, would fall under the Hybrid trait/s rather than the Mythical trait.
Body Types
- Traits such as soapy, loofah, curtain, bath bomb, and bottled will defaultly be used on an organic body. Using these traits does not require the organic body or two types trait. The several types traits is only used for the following:
- Using multiple modifiers on an organic body (e.g. Loofah and Soapy paired together)
- Using modifiers paired with traits that change the body material (e.g. Loofah and Jelly paired together)
- Using traits that change the body material only in certain areas (e.g. A character that has some pool toy features, but still has fur on some areas of its body)
Extras
- Extras are completely optional and are not required to be added onto a character!
About Dirkitties
Dirtkitties are small animals made out of cookie, gummy, and other sweets. They are created with love strong enough that allows them to magically gain sentience into living beings! Dirkitties are created by artists and Dirtkitties alike.
Anatomy-wise, Dirtkitties are composed of two parts – their dirt, and their gummy. You can pick from various types of bodies and gummies, or even combine them!

Dirtkitties are primarily cats, domestic or wild. They can rarely be dogs, and even more rarely, have the ability to shapeshift into any types of animal! Along with this, many Dirtkitties can optionally transform into a smaller version of themselves, either made entirely out of cookie, or entirely out of gummy. These transformations can be anything, from animals, to objects to unusual shapes.
Many extra traits and features can be added at varying costs and rarities. To see all of what your Dirkitty can have, including bodies, gummies, and other categories, visit the visual trait guide!

Extra Trait Info
If you need a further breakdown on our traits, some extra info can be found below!Body Types
- Dirt color traits can be mixed without the usage of the Multiple Modifiers trait. If you are using both common and uncommon colors, you will need both the Chocolate and Flavored dirt traits.
- Chocolate dirt is allowed to be tinted, but must still clearly be a shade of brown, tan, or cream and cannot be extremely saturated. (Show Example)
Gummy
- Gummy may be in the inner ears without the need for the Gummy on Head trait. Hair may also be made out of gummy without this trait.
Extras
- Extras are completely optional and are not required to be added onto a character!
Transformations
- Transformations must take on a chibi-ish, simple shape opposed to the main form. They do not have to be extremely basic, but they must be clearly simpler than the main form. Although they are usually smaller, this is not a requirement.
- Transformations are completely optional and are not required to be added onto a character!
- In order to use a transformation, you will have to use the Transforming subtype. This is entirely free to use, but all transformation traits are locked to that specific subtype.
- Transformations are allowed to have things such as hairstyles, accessories, tail shapes, etc. carried over from the main design.
This should cover all the basics of the species! If you need more help getting started, check out our other guides on using the site and on art redemption.
