Part Four: Idol Idolization
Tonight is the night where every Soapuppy at the event will come together to the main stage for the final ceremony of Sudsy's Silly Summer!
You're along for the ride, making your way through crowds of Soapuppies eager to get a good seat. Really, you don't mind having a spot in the back, but something tells you that you need to move closer to the stage. The stage itself is rather large, with stars hanging on the speakers and lights that twinkle as the wind pushes them. The stage lights are bright, making you squint! Will this spot be worth all the pushing and struggling you went through?
There are some Soapuppies that are setting up their instruments, like drums, guitars, and a keyboard! They're really going all out for this part of the event, huh? You wonder if you'll get to talk to the band that'll be playing the music for this wonderous occasion.
Suddenly, the lights dim, only leaving the twilight of the sky above. Your ears perk and your tail wags, excited to see what comes next. As Soapuppies begin to shout and scream out of excitement, fog envelopes the stage. Then, a voice booms through the speaker:
"Are you ready!?"
Cheers explode around you, and you have no choice but to cheer as well! The lights blast on once more, and you see the silhouette of a canine Soapuppy, posing for the crowd below. Then, she jumps out of the fog and shows herself, her face beaming with excitement. It's Fizzy, a well-known Soapuppy singer!
Fizzy begins a song, her tail wagging as she dances across the stage. The band behind her is playing like their lives depended on it! All around you, as you look to and fro, you can see Soapuppies cheering and shouting, and some even crying, as they extend their claws and paws up towards the stage. Thankfully, there were bouncers that kept the fans at bay! For you, though? You were just here for the ride!
Her voice booms through the twilight, with one final verse, before the band ends with a loud drumline. Fizzy seems to be having the time of her life, laughing along as the drums continue playing, before finally, they end with a hit to the cymbals being muted by the paw of the drummer. Fizzy continues laughing just a little longer, then turns her attention towards her fans.
"Hello everybody!!" She exclaims, earning cheers back. She waits for it to die down before she continues. "It's so nice to see every one of you out here at Sudsy's Silly Summer Festival! Don't worry, I have so much more to sing about for you, but I wanted to bring up our merchandise!"
Her nose points over to a corner of the crowd, where all sorts of Fizzy merchandise glimmers on a table. You tilt your head in curiosity, before looking back at the celebrity.
"We have all sorts of merch out there for everyone, however we also have something special! A scavenger hunt!"
You smile a little bit. That's all you've been doing lately!
"Obtain all the merchandise through the Scavenger Hunt, and you'll be given something special! Plus, maybe one of you could get a VIP ticket for a chance to speak with me and my band!"
Now that sends a cacophony of cheers over towards Fizzy. She beams with a sense of pride, then turns her back towards the fans. "With that out of the way, let's get back to the fun!"
You smile and nod along, as the band begins again, ready to hype up all the Soapuppies waiting for a good time.
